In 2021, John Melbourne, Managing Director of Urban Energy Solutions was looking to accelerate growth and improve efficiency in his own business, by making it easier to collect and manage his customers’ data, and monitor subcontractors’ work.
The business required a solution that could meet their immediate needs plus provide long-lasting benefits. About Urban Energy Solutions
Urban Energy Solutions Ltd specialises in providing homeowners and private tenants direct access to ECO government grants for making energy-efficient upgrades to their properties, such as installing insulation or replacing old boilers. Their expert advisors help low-income households increase the efficiency of their homes, resulting in reduced carbon emissions, lower heating bills and helping to tackle fuel poverty.
Following an assessment of business processes and technical infrastructure, Conduit recommended the Pipedrive CRM platform and provided a comprehensive demo to illustrate how it would meet Urban Energy Solutions’ needs.

Including enabling Urban Energy Solutions to manage customer applications, due-diligence activities and the ECO3 installation lifecycle through a bespoke pipeline created for them. Customer data and documents were centralised in one place and import/export features tailored to allow Urban Energy Solutions to match records against 3rd party suppliers much more easily.
